The Big Day

December 10, 2011

Today’s the big day in Moscow for post-election protests. Over 30,000 people on Facebook replied that they would be attending the meetings today, the largest of which is taking place on Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square. Out for a walk earlier, I saw and heard the police helicopters monitoring the protests – based on the surprised reactions of almost everyone on the streets, it is a very unusual occurrence.

For live coverage of the protests, check out this website at The Telegraph. Coverage is glaringly absent from television news here.
